A manufacturer of ultra-high frequency imaging systems needed the user manual of their newly developed ultrasound device translated into German. It contained detailed descriptions and procedures for configuring and using the system as well as numerous exemplifying graphics.
We conducted a thorough terminology research to ensure that the correct terms for this specific type of medical devices were used and adapted the German user instructions for the use of a device with controls still labelled in English.
We paid particular attention to using appropriate language for users who are familiar with ultrasound devices.
